Despite its youth, this wine is ripe, robust, and drinkable right out of the bottle.  The tannins are soft bus still provide plenty of structure to stand up to a nice ragout in a garlicky tomato sauce over pappardelle pasta.

A long maceration on the skins (20-25 days) gives this wine a rich mouthfeel with plenty of ripe dark fruit leading on the palate. Neutral barrel aging and further refinement in the bottle smooth all of the edges that you might expect from a young Barbaresco.  A generous expression of Nebbiolo that can be cellared, consumed now, and that will compliment a variety of foods.

If you are pining for an easy-drinking Nebbiolo at a great price, this is definitely a wine you should try.
