This is a Rosso that should definitely not be shown next to the Brunello.  It is really that good.  Made from the fruit selections that don't make it into the Brunello.  This wine spends 12 months in Tonneau and Barrique with an additional 4-6 months in the bottle.  The oak aging is double the time  required by the DOC regulations. This is a serious Rosso that will give lesser Brunellos a run for their money.
