The Ferghettina Rosé is a magnificent example of traditional method sparkling wine.  It is made from 100% Pinot Noir and expresses a wonderful toasty bouquet of cranberries, strawberries, and brioche.  This wine is a great introduction to Franciacorta that will certainly open your mind to trying more of these excellent wines. 

The special shape of the bottle is patented by the Gatti Family.  While unique and beautiful in appearance, it is no gimmick.  The flat sides of the bottle increase the ratio of juice in contact with the lees during aging, which increases and accelerates the influence of the lees on the flavor profile of the wine.
